House Fuseboad and Change Over Switches

New Fuse board and C/O switches I went for two change over switches for two reasons. Firstly 63Amp switch are significanly cheaper and smaller the 80Amp ones Secondly it enabled me to run the low power consumption stuff (Lights, Fridge, Freezer etc) on the one switch and the high power consumption stuff (Cooker, Ring Main etc) on the other. The advantage of this is as I have limited PV Pannels (512W) I can only collect 2-3kWh per "GOOD" day so I cannot run the hose entirely off the system. so I run the low power consumption stuff 90 of the time and in an energency I can run the lot at the flick of a switch...

You can see there are two Isolators one for the MAINS supply and one for the INVERTER supply. The Mains goes from the Isolator to two 50A MCBs then to the two 63A C/O switches. the Inverter supply goes direct from the Isolator to the C/O switches as is already limited to 15A. From the C/O switches it goe to the breakers the firs four on C/O Switch 1 and the second four on C/O Switch 2. Then off round the house...
